Paying customers from 90 countries use the system
The second-largest tablet POS system on the market
Expanding training to international markets and the partner network
«After we launched and announced the course, we would log into AcademyOcean and watch how the first customers were going through it. And the whole company celebrated whenever someone completed the course all the way to the end. My favorite feature is the funnel. It shows me which lessons are harder to get through, which ones are worth breaking into several parts, and what would work better in a different order. We recently started another course, this time for partners. And in the coming months we'll be launching academies in other languages.»
When we walk into a restaurant or a café, many of the organizational processes stay invisible to us, especially when those processes are digitized.
Waiters used to write orders down on a slip of paper and pass it to the kitchen.
Then came specialized software — restaurant automation systems.
Now we've reached the next stage: these programs are moving to the cloud. And one of those cloud systems in Dnipro is Poster.
The team launched in 2013, and today they have 160 people on board.
Poster came to AcademyOcean to build an Academy for their customers. They teach them how to use the system and how to get the most value out of it.
Here's Maryna, who was in charge of creating the Academy: "A year ago we decided to build a basic Poster course. We already had a knowledge base, a product tour, and training videos. But it was important to create something that would walk customers and their employees through the product thoroughly, step by step. A course with lessons was a perfect fit."
As of 2020, Poster has 12,000 paying customers from 90 countries! They've also managed to open an office in Latin America and become the second-largest tablet POS system in Europe.
And the minimum setup to run this system in a café is a router and an iPad! So if you need to automate a café you've recently opened — or are just about to open — now you know which homegrown system is worth trying first. And we're glad that with AcademyOcean you'll also learn to use it as fast as possible!
